It gives me an immense joy to invite you to Goodwill College, a Co-Educational Institute situated in Shillong, Meghalaya. The College happily brings together sound academic achievements with extensive co-curricular activities. Our mission is to instill in our students the love for knowledge together with the teachings that will have an impact in the overall well-being of every student. Hence bringing about communal harmony in thoughts, works and deeds is the objectives of the college. We also aim to develop academically with a lifelong learning essential for making not only a responsible student but a responsible citizen as well.
Education is a collaborative effort (which I strongly believe) that involves professional administrators, committed teachers and motivated students. The college requires hard work and strong dedication of the college management, teaching and non-teaching staffs to be able to empowered students in a global perspective, and for this I would like to thank everyone that are involved in contributing to the noble task of spreading education and its manifest qualities, aims and objectives of Goodwill College.
I also take this opportunity to urge and encourage my students to commit yourselves to build a bright and strong future and to be able to acquire the true meaning of education, while you are in the college seeking for education and qualifying yourself for various degrees. Understanding that education is not only being able to read and write but building one’s own character; strengthen one’s own mind, body and soul; expanding one’s own intellect and being able to stand on one’s own feet define the literal meaning of education.
Student life plays a significant role in shaping and building a future and a life as a whole. It is considered to be one of the solid stone in building the foundation of life. The journey of life as a student is the most important and precious journey in life as your happiness, your success and your name, all depend on how you live and spent your life as a student. So as you step each day into a new and unknown world, I wish you all my dear students a great and successful life and to remember to use your education and your knowledge well in life.
